Gobble Gobble

Happy Thanksgiving 2008! We are headed up north to visit with Crystal and her beautiful family. We will be missing our Gandma's and Grandpa's this year. ( Aunts and Uncles, too) I will post pictures of CC's super cute kindergarten feast when we get home. Have a happy holiday.

Fire In The Sky

The weather has been crazy hot! We went to the beach last weekend and had an awesome time. Things turned sour when it was time to go home and a few freeways were closed due to all of the fires. It took us close to 4 hours to get home, as opposed to the one hour drive to get there! You wouldn't believe how smokey it was. That is the closest I ever want to get to a wild fire.

Rockin' The Vote

Owen and Claire's school let the kids have their own election. Look at the little polls, are they cute or what? We were all supposed to keep who we voted for a secret (Yes, I got to vote as I was the class helper today.) Anywho, kindergarteners are not the best secret keepers. Obama was definately the winner in Mrs. Nelson's class. I have not voted for realz, yet! Owen really wants to go with me. So, we will ALL be going after he gets out of school. I also made the kids a dinner ballot, we are having alot of fun with this. I hope the lines are not too long....
