Just the four of us at Thanksgiving this year. We were a little homesick but kept the day festive. Most of our neighbor's went out of town so it was pretty quiet around here. Time to look forward to Christmas. Happy to report we will have some family visiting soon.

Party Like a Preschooler and Tom Turkey

We had a great time watching CC perform a few songs with her class. She seems to love the spotlight just like her brother. After the entertainment friends and family sat down for a feast fit for a three year old. Donut holes, grapes, pretzels, goldfish (crackers) and apple cider (pasteurized) Yum. Also a picture of O with a Tom Turkey terrific piece of his original artwork.

A Couple of Fun Ones

Apple Dip
1 8oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 t. vanilla
1/2 c. marshmallow cream

mix first four ingredients, layer with marshmallow cream (or skip the marshmallow)
If you dip the apple slices in Sprite it will buy you some time before they turn brown. Grahm crackers would be good with this too.

Mini Pretzel Candies
350 degrees on oven. spread pretzels on a foiled cookie sheet. top each pretzel with one Rolo candy. pop in oven for about 5 minutes. take out of oven and smoosh a pecan or cashew or walnut or whatever gently onto the Rolo. cool on wax paper.

Funny Names

The girl likes to name her stuffed animals. And she really sticks to them, somtimes we quiz her for kicks. Here are a few of her favorites. Softie, Fluffy, Pinky, Anty(stuffed anteater), Grrry(stuffed lion), Brownberry or Brownbeary, and my personal favorite is CC's unicorn "Sparkle Horny"
The boy is back to school today. Hooray!

Sick Shack

Taking the boy back to the Dr. this evening, kept him home from school again today. The poor little guy usually bounces back a little quicker. The girl and I are bouncing off of the walls. Big Daddy flew to Chicago this morning, a whirlwind trip as he will be home this evening. Hoping everything will be brighter tomorrow.
