Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be Will Be)

Well, now the house is for sale. It's a little depressing. Bill is back in Ca. until March 2nd. Keeping the house ready to show is making me nuts. You know that commercial where the guy works with monkeys? That's how I feel with CC and O. We have people coming over tomorrow morning to look at the house and I have two different buyers coming to look at the Trooper this weekend. We are not expecting the house to sell too quickly, but you never know. At some point we will need to get more serious in our search for a new house. I am pretty much taking it one day at a time. I don't think I will look back on these days fondly. We have already said goodbye to the house we brought Owen home to, and the house we brought CC home to, now we will be saying goodbye to a house with so many memories. I am ready for some roots! I know I am starting to sound like a whiny complainer. This is the new"me" for now. On the bright side, the kids are still doing great. I am doing my best to keep it positive around them. I read the sweetest story with them last night called " The Mountain That Loved A Bird " by Alice McLerran. It choked me up. P.S. Anyone looking for a house in the Akron/Canton area?

My Funny Valentine

Our little princess has just turned four,
let me tell you a little more....

Claire can do amazing things with her fingers,
and almost always walks on her tippy toes.
She only occasionally picks her nose.

Claire is beautiful beyond compare,
she still has shiny, golden, hair.

For a time Claire could be bossy,
now she tells us what to do; nicely.

CC could live on only fruit,
even though it makes her toot.

CC can swim like a fish,
and color like Van Gogh,
what a joy it is watching her grow!

My Brown Eyed Girl

First day of school in Costa Rica. Aumony looks so pretty and smart in her uniform. My Dad and Judy are going for a visit in March. I hope we get a chance to get down there soon, before they are all grown up!

HELP!

Due to the brutal cold, school has been called off for the last two days. I had a full house today, six crazy kids bouncing off of the walls. (my babysitting day) Let's hope for a warm up. Thankfully B gets home on Friday because the 6 year old has been asking me some very tough questions this week. For example: Why is orange called "orange?" Why did they name Spain, "Spain?" What happens when you die? (yikes!) Next week I will be able to say, "Go ask your Dad." Instead of my standard, " I don't know."

Baby, It's Cold Outside

Brrrrr, the high was 9 degrees today. The word is they may cancel school tomorrow due to the wind chill. We still managed to keep busy as B will be in Cali until the 9th. For those of you tracking us on maps, he checked out Redlands, Chino Hills, and Alto Loma this weekend. Now all we have to do is win the lotto and we will be set! He is also enjoying the fine cuisine of California. Unless you're into cabbage rolls and pierogies, Northern Ohio hasn't knocked me out in the food department. I'm trying not to think about him hanging out in the mid 70's. So for fun the kids and I hung out at the Mcdonald's playpen on friday night, saturday we went to the movies with a neighbor, and today we killed some time at the YMCA. The relocation process has started. They had a home inspector go through the house on friday, we met with one real estate agent last week and we have a meeting set with another when B gets home. We will then get to choose who to go with. We are hoping the house will sell and not have to go through the "buy out" hassle, wish us luck. The kids are holding up really well. We had to store quite a few of their toys and B has been gone alot, and it seems that all we talk about these days is the big move. They are awesome and cute as pie, I am sure they will make great friends in that cukoo state that we will soon be living in.
