Here I Go Again On My Own
So, the husband came home on Fri. and left back to Cali yesterday. The excitement of the move has come and gone, I'm feeling a little cranky. We had the appraisels done on Mon. and Tues. for the buy out. We are hoping for a fair price. That would take some stress out of the situation since it's been awhile since we have had a showing. Poor CC is having some of her asthma like symptoms, she stayed home from school. The new medicine she has been on has really helped, I'm thinking the warm weather may be causing some allergy problems. Bummer.
Check out this awesome band I discovered on Myspace. They are called The Antecedents. There are a couple of songs you can listen to. I can't stop singing the first song that plays, it's really great. I hear they even had some radio play on 94.7! (this is actually my bro-in-laws band) Because I am technically challenged, I had to google them to find the myspace page. Anyway, it's good music so take a listen.

Our House, is a very, very, very Fine House
Here is a status report. We have had seven different showings of our house. One couple has been back twice. Most of the feedback we have recieved has been wanting a bigger backyard. One couple didn't like our kitchen floor! I cleaned the holy moly out of the house this morning thinking someone would want to check it out today, unfortunetly it looks like I may have made the beds for nothing. Our real estate agent is pretty optimistic that this house will sell quickly, let's keep the fingers crossed.
In other news, we are keeping pretty busy here. The kids are taking swim lessons at the Y and I also signed Owen up for a "Fun With Football" class on Tuesday evenings. I lined up a babysitter for Wednesday nights so I am back to playing in my tennis league, yeah! Bill, on the other hand is getting really antsy and missing his family, as we are missing him. He will be home on Friday and we will be planning a trip out there, shooting for early April. This is not an ideal situation, but watching the news the other night and seeing soldiers preparing for deployment, I was reminded that this is a small thing by comparison.
So, at Shelly's urging I invested in "The Secret", there is alot of buzz about this book. I promise to read with an open mind. Lastly, is there anything better than a fresh Auntie Anne's pretzel? (the kids and I killed some time at the mall today and we agreed the pretzel was the highlight)
